Color Vowel® Crossword Puzzles: Book 1

Gamify your English language classroom! Our debut crossword puzzle book helps learners expand their vocabulary as they explore spelling patterns and develop phonemic awareness. Featured words are suited for intermediate and advanced learners.

This downloadable document can be used as a master for printing copies for your classes or tutoring sessions, or you can provide students with the featured link for each puzzle to complete online.

The book provides one puzzle for each vowel Color in the 5th edition Color Vowel® Chart (except for AUBURN DOG). Each puzzle has a separate page of clues and an answer key for the teacher and/or students. Bonus features include an introductory lesson plan and a Color Vowel® Organizer containing all of the vocabulary from the puzzles.
